Have you ever heard the phrase, “If you can read this, thank a teacher”? It’s true! We ALL are who we are because of teachers. It’s teacher appreciation week, so (besides checking out my fabulous links) tell one of your awesome teachers you appreciate them!

I gotta tell ya—I love my Kindle! So this headline took me by surprise. But I found it to be true. Sheila confronts the temptations women face in the books we read. You can always count on Sheila to offer a non-pretentious touch to reality founded in biblical truth, and this topic is no different.
A few weeks ago, my mom told me that my clutter was overwhelming. The queen of clutter was disgusted at my clutter. Ouch. So I took a good look at my clutter (otherwise known as “crap”) and I organized, re-organized, and pitched a lot. That’s probably why I like this to-the-point checklist!
Really? Seems like Google and Facebook are the heroes of our media age. But this writer has good points to consider. He says: “The bottom line is that the next 5-8 years could be incredibly dynamic. It’s possible that both Google and Facebook could be shells of their current selves—or gone entirely.”

Is your home centered around your children? Ummm, guilty! This thought-provoking post discusses the fact that while it’s appropriate to love and delight in your children, mothers can get caught up in doing everything solely around their children. If we center ourselves on Christ, then our homes will be Christ-centered and our parenting will be Christ-centered. A must read!
